Autism Awareness

Welcome to April! Today begins something very special...Autism Awareness Month. I have been so blessed to have my life touched by numerous people with Autism and by their parents and families. Through all of those experiences, there have been three particular mothers that have amazed and astounded me with their unwavering faith and strength as they brave the battle of Autism for their children. One of these amazing mothers has recently started what is being called: "The Thirty Days of Autism Project". Designed to raise Autism awareness, this mother, Niki will be taking time each day to open her home and her heart to share a little bit about what it is like to raise a child with Autism. Niki has graciously allowed me to share her family's story here, so over the next month, I will provide links to her website as well as post some of her entries and pictures. Niki, her husband B, and their amazing little man Matty, are such an inspiration to me and I look forward to sharing their journey with all of you!
