After Sisco's seemingly happy 2007 season ends abruptly, he goes into a funk. Urged by his friends to move on, he rejoins a bus tour of the Midwest where, on the spur of the moment, he buys an opening day starter position with a local team. He assembles a crew of oddballs and immigrants to help build the team; over the next year, as they work, he welcomes one of his Chicago friends who's defensive and wears high socks. He seeks love, first (tenuously) with first place, then with a pennant race. Although strikeouts get in the way of love, Sisco's wishes come true in unexpected ways, and there's always the Teflon sun....at least until 2010.
"Under the Teflon Sun" is coming soon to a dome near you! Follow a Dominican's adventure to find love, strikeouts and a ring in this smashing sequel to the film from Frances Mayes and Audrey Wells.
